Rage In My Eyes nuevo vídeo “Winter Dream” + Review de “Ice Cell”

RAGE IN MY EYES es un grupo que inició sus andaduras en el 2000 con el nombre de Scelerata, después de 2 discos, en 2018 deciden cambiar su nombre sacando su primer disco un año después titulado “Ice Cell” distribuido en formato digital por Amazon, Apple app y Spotify y que salió a la venta el 14 Agosto 2019; banda de Porto Alegre (Brasil) realiza un Power/Heavy metal encontrándose similitudes con bandas como Messiah’s Kiss, At Vance o sus compatriotas Angra. Y se preguntarán que hacemos hablando de esta banda un año después, pues simplemente estrenaron el 22 de Diciembre el videoclip del tema “Winter Dream”, y a raíz de este nos llega este larga duración a nuestra redacción.

Hablando del disco tengo que decir que estamos ante un muy buen disco debut donde temas como “Winter Dream”, “Hole In the Shell”, “Death Sleepers” o “The Core” me recuerda irremediablemente a sus compatriotas Angra realizando en varios temas la integración del acordeón en un mestizaje de instrumentos magistral. Por otro lado, los temas como “Surrounded By Black Mirrors”, “Inner Fate” o “Blank” destilan ese power/heavy alemán de principios del 2000 con guitarras más contundentes, incluso en el tema “Dive Deep” se inicia el tema con un ritmo de batería que realiza un guiño al thrash,  en el tema “Draft of Illusions” colabora el teclista Vinicius Moller (Backstage, Hileia) en la que se reivindica en la balada del disco. La banda raya a muy buen nivel y Jonathan hace un gran trabajo vocal, pareciendose en algunos registros al gran Edu Falaschy. 

El videoclip en sí no dice nada en absoluto ya que se grabó en el confinamiento y aparecen los integrantes del grupo en sus respectivos domicilios grabándose mientras tocan el tema. Pero siendo sincero, me alegro por poder reseñar al disco debut de esta banda, ya que es un muy buen disco de heavy/power y hubiera sido un crimen que se me hubiera pasado conocerlos. Disco recomendado para todos los seguidores del Power/Heavy metal, espero que este grupo gire por nuestro país para poder verlos en directo. Un saludo

RAGE IN MY EYES is a group that began its journey in 2000 with the name of Scelerata, after 2 albums, in 2018 they decided to change their name, releasing their first album a year later entitled “Ice Cell” distributed in digital format by Amazon, Apple app and Spotify and which went on sale on August 14, 2019; A band from Porto Alegre (Brazil) performs a Power / Heavy metal, finding similarities with bands like Messiah’s Kiss, At Vance or their compatriots Angra. Speaking of the album I have to say that we are facing a very good debut album where songs like “Winter Dream”, “Hole In the Shell”, “Death Sleepers” or “The Core” inevitably reminds me of his compatriots Angra performing the integration of the accordion in a masterful mix of instruments. On the other hand, songs like “Surrounded By Black Mirrors”, “Inner Fate” or “Blank” exude that German power / heavy from the early 2000s with more forceful guitars. a drum rhythm that makes a nod to thrash, on the song “Draft of Illusions” the keyboardist Vinicius Moller (Backstage, Hileia) collaborates in which he vindicates himself in the ballad of the album. The band is at a very good level and Jonathan does a great vocal job, resembling the great Edu Falaschy in some registers.

The videoclip itself does not say anything at all since it was recorded in confinement and the members of the group appear in their respective homes recording while playing the song. But to be honest, I am glad to be able to review this band’s debut album, since it is a very good heavy / power album and it would have been a crime if I had missed meeting them. Recommended album for all Power / Heavy metal fans, I hope this group will tour our country to see them live. a greeting.
